About Aaron

Aaron Gershfield is the Head Paralegal at Fair Oaks Law Firm, a Northern California firm that specializes in commercial law where he was recently hired, first as a freelancer and later as a fulltime legal assistant. Within only a few months of his employment, he was promoted to a new position within the firm where he has more control over his tasks and manages other paralegals. Before taking a position at Fair Oaks, Aaron Gershfield worked for two years as a legal assistant for one of the premier law firms in California: the Law Offices of Sacramento. After he left the firm, he used his specific education and skill set to start working as a freelancer until Fair Oaks Law Firm hired him. Although working as a paralegal can be challenging for the 24-year-old Kent State graduate, Aaron Gershfield takes pleasure in meeting new people every day and helping them sort through their legal problems. He is passionate about what he does, and he plans to open his own law firm once he completes his law degree. Aaron Gershfield was recently accepted to the McGeorge School of Law and will begin taking night classes in fall 2008, and he plans to graduate and pass the bar exam by the year 2012. Aaron Gershfield’s legal assisting work monopolizes the majority of his time, but in what little free time he can call his own, he enjoys reading up on current events, solving riddles and puzzles, and familiarizing himself with different cultures. He also spends a significant amount of his time staying abreast of the latest developments in commercial law in order to strengthen his current legal skills and stay one step ahead of the game. Aaron Gershfield is also very interested in philosophy and enjoys reading a variety of books on the subject. Besides his intellectual pursuits, Aaron Gershfield also possesses a myriad of eclectic interests in film, music, and entertainment. He is a devoted fan of alternative music and independent films, and frequently lists Linkin Park, Coldplay, and Dave Matthews Band among his favorite musical groups and Once, A Scanner Darkly, and Juno as some of his favorite films. Aaron Gershfield is also enthusiastic about such popular television shows as Lost, Heroes, and Mythbusters and is a huge fan of Assassin’s Creed. He also takes time out of his busy schedule to blog about what matters most to him on his WordPress Blog.
